First sneak photo from liverc.com

Tekno RC EB410, almost here!
We're all excited for the launch of the new Tekno RC EB410 1/10th 4wd Buggy.  It's just around the corner and should be shipping to customers, dealers, and distributors by the end of September.  In the meantime, we'll be releasing more information in a 3-part article series that delves into some of the design features and philosophy.
In the first article we'll give you our take on the 1/10th 4wd buggy class, what we thought could be improved, and some basic background and history of the new kit.  The second article will focus more on specific features that are unique to the vehicle. The third article will be a full reveal of the exclusive chassis layout and further info on the many features that will make the new buggy truly special.
We'd like to thank our awesome customers for their patience.  The bottom line for us is to make sure that the vehicle will live up to expectations in terms of performance, durability, and value.  We hope you'll agree that it was worth the wait.
Please join us in the Tekno RC Owners Club on Facebook  and we will be happy to answer questions regarding the EB410 or any of our vehicles and products. We will only be answering questions relating to the most recent EB410 article (don't want to give away the surprise 😀) until all articles are released then we will be happy to answer all questions.

Hmm.  Very different.  I am curious about the weight being so far forward I wonder about rear traction.  They say this buggy was developed for modern tracks, meaning high bite clay and carpet, but GFX is a little more old school hard packed dirt.  We go from tacky to dusty, sometimes in the same night.  It'll be interesting to watch.

I have a feeling it will drive in the same manner as it's older brothers.
Since I've been running Tekno, I realized I preferred my vehicles to transfer more drive from the front!

I can't wait to try it out.  Hopefully we can keep GFX Raceway open to test it out!
St. Poly races starting in October too...

The build went very well.  Nice plastics, love the big 13mm shocks!  Everything fits well, no slop or hand finishing of parts needed, lots of room for electronics.  The buggy feels beefy without feeling heavy.  Look for a full write up soon.

Side note:  I did get a chance to run one last night at GFX - stock set up, stock diff oils and shock oils - impressive.  While a lot of people have wondered about the forward mounted electronics and layout in general it did not want for rear traction, in fact it held itself through the switch back S section at GFX as well if not better than my 22-4 on the same tires.  There are a few things to play with, sure maybe add some rear weight to try it out when things get dry and dusty - not a problem this summer however - but this buggy has a ton of potential.

Great video!  Loved it and making me miss the racing.  Maybe next summer if I can get Glover to give me back my 22!
