Andrew, saw Wayne and had some good conversation with him. Wayne and his son are really nice people and great racers to boot. Their primary type of racing has predominantly been 12th scale. However as he says he does it all. He says hi!
It was pretty funny as the big class this time around were pan cars. Wayne is sponsored by BRP and his son Tyler by SpeedMerchant (Bruce Carbone the owner of SM was there too). The SpeedMerchant car is brand new and really sweet looking. They loaded up the mains with lots of great drivers from SpeedMerchant. In open pan car, Robbie Dodge ran a prototype car from my batterie sponsor (PsychoCells). The car was in need of a lot of setup as it only came together on Friday night. Tyler Gerber (Wayne's son) who's sponsored by SpeedMerchant helped to put the final touches on the car. Robbie came off winning the Amain in front of Tyler, Mark Smyka and the rest of the pack. Crazy race. I'm sure Bruce Carbone wasn't too pleased about that!
