The race dates have been posted for a while now!

Just need you guys to come in and buy some kits so we can make this class final!

By doing tcs rules our minis will be competitive where ever you race like going to kingston and ktown will come down for a on off road sunday!

Got asked the differences of the kits...

Ready To Run:
# The very popular Mini Cooper Racing car comes loaded on the new M-05 chassis.
# The servo, receiver, and ESC are mounted on the rear of the newly designed monocoque frame for better weight distribution and a lower center of gravity.
# The 3-piece tie-rod steering linkage offers sharp cornering performance.
# Sticker sheet included.
# Includes 60D radial tires and silver Rover Mini Cooper wheels.
# ESC and type 540 motor included.
# 2-channel R/C system, battery pack & charger are separately required.
# A wide variety of Option Parts for M-05 chassis machines and bodies are already available for further customization.

-Pro Kit:
The chassis is compatible with M-03 chassis bodies (sold sep.), providing you with a wide range of body choice. The 60D radial tires with realistic tread pattern are mounted on the 11-spoke white wheels.

    * M-03R Aluminum Rear Uprights
    * Aluminum Horn for Hi-Torque Servo Saver
    * CVA Oil Damper Super Mini
    * Short Springs for TRF Dampers (Soft/Medium/Hard)
    * 1150 Ball Bearings
    * 850 Ball Bearings
    * Aluminum Ball Connectors (Blue)
    * Aluminum Ball Connector Nuts (Blue)
    * 2.0mm Setting Spacer (Blue)
    * 3.0mm Setting Spacer (Blue)
    * 4mm Aluminum Flange Locknuts (Blue)
    * Hi-Torque Servo Saver

Pro kit has no body in the kit, but has a full ball bearing set.

The cost of a body and a set of bearings are in the same area...

It should be good times.. A lower cost class that we can do all yr round.

Let me know which kits you guys want.. I see if the 2 options of body choice is in stock... but the previous mini bodies fit too!

I know I'm posting from Australia so won't be racing but why the M05 only as TCS Canada allows any M chassis that uses 60D tyres (or smaller)

PS: My Alfa was sex on wheels.
Seems it appeared on the old website which is gone.   :-[

Since I can't see the packaging that differ from the TamiyaUSA packaging I think Gordie means the RTR "XpertBuilt" Minis will include everything except battery and charger, and I am fairly certain pre-assembled and painted as well. It will be something like this:

http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=57798

The Mini Kit or Mini Pro Kit will only include ESC

well thats good news since u have to run a brushed motor... of course the 200-300 brushed esc would likely offer a bit of a push :)

So a kit comes with motor and esc and body for around 130$... thats not to bad, guess ill have to see how much they are at DH... and find a civic body :) for the shelf of course :)

I have a page on my site with a current list of bodies.

Please note that the ABC bodies are only online. Maybe The DH guys might be able to get them brought in.
Very High quality bodies.

I can't believe it but you guys have tempted me to try on-road.  I've always loved the mini's and this may be my excuse to get one, and that VW Golf body looks awesome.
I'll wait to see race shedules and details before I pull the trigger.

  Breener...   The dates are here.  They will be racing Offroad and Onroad on the same day.

May 9th
May 23rd
June 6th
June 20th
July 4th
July 23-25th Canadian Electric Nationals
Aug 1st

If people are going to use the Tamiya kit and RTR with spec lipo battery it might be a good idea to source some cutoffs since both the included ESC (TEU-101BK or even the TEU-104BK) doesn't support Lipo cut off. I know the TEU-104BK support LiFE cutoff but I am not sure if it will be the same voltage cutoff as LiFE has a different requirement.
